A new beginning, shaped by hope and rooted in God’s promise
Welcome to South Calder Church — a new parish shaped by hope, community and a shared commitment to following Jesus Christ. Formed from the union of five congregations — Allanton, Bonkle, Cambusnethan North, Coltness Memorial and Shotts, Calderhead Erskine Churches.
We are building a fresh and life‑enhancing church across our two worship centres in Allanton and Newmains, serving the area of South Calder parish from Cambusnethan to Shotts. Here you’ll find a church family grounded in faith, open to all, and dedicated to serving our local communities with compassion, creativity, and joy.
Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for a place to belong, or simply curious about who we are, we’re glad you’re here and we look forward to sharing this journey with you.
